New survey: data analytics in property graph databases
Our survey, Data Analytics Algorithms in Property Graph Databases: A Survey, is now published in Computer Science Review.
Graph databases are increasingly used to analyze connected data, but support for graph analytics is very different from one system to another. In this paper, we map the landscape: we describe 45 graph analytics algorithms, examine 20 popular graph databases, and identify which systems support them.
We also compare Neo4j, Memgraph, and TigerGraph on synthetic and real-world graphs. The goal is to give researchers and practitioners a practical guide for choosing a graph database and the right tools for their analytics task.
