About me
I am a PhD Candidate in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI), Italy, and Founder and CTO of LegisRatio, a LegalTech company building knowledge-graph-powered legal intelligence.
My research focuses on graph database systems, graph query languages, graph mining, natural language processing, and knowledge discovery at scale. I work across formalisation, systems prototyping, experimental evaluation, and publication, with hands-on experience in Neo4j internals, HPC, and production-scale data systems.
At LegisRatio, I architect and operate a cloud-native knowledge-management platform that transforms and continuously updates more than three million legal documents into a property graph with over five million nodes and fifteen million relationships. The platform supports graphRAG, search, analytics, and agentic legal-monitoring applications.
My doctoral work includes a GQL operator for mining association rules in property graphs, implemented as a Neo4j/APOC prototype and published in The VLDB Journal. I also researched path-aware GQL triggers for active property graph databases as a visiting PhD researcher at LIRIS, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1; this work was accepted at CIKM 2026.
My research advisors are Prof. Stefano Ceri and Prof. Anna Bernasconi. I am a member of the DATA SCIENCE LAB at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioinformatica (DEIB).
I am also a SysAdmin and DevOps Engineer for the Data Science Lab and DSB Lab, where I maintain on-premises and CINECA HPC infrastructure for research services, and a teaching assistant for databases, programming, and computer-science fundamentals courses.
