Last week I participated to the DeepLearn and BigDat 23 Summer School in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

I had the opportunity to follow incredible lectures from some of the best researchers in the world on the latest topics on deep learn, such as large language models, contrastive learning, graph neural networks, and on big data, like reproducible data science methodologies, data engineering with Spark 3.X, massive networks analysis, graph embeddings.

After his last lecture on “Word and Graph Embeddings for Machine Learning”, I even asked Steven Skiena, author of “Data Science Design Manual” and “The Algorithm Design Manual”, to take a picture together.
