I am a 3rd year PhD Candidate in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI), Italy.

My research area is Computer Science and Engineering, focusing on knowledge management techniques for exploring massive textual data corpuses. Knowledge management is the discipline of storing, organising, retrieving, exploring, and deriving knowledge automatically from any source of data that surround us.

Generative artificial intelligence is the last singularity that reshaped this field of research. Semantics of unstructured data does not represent an unbreakable wall anymore and we are able to study and exploit its regularities for pursuing unsupervised and semi-supervised learning tasks.

My research shows that graph database technologies are growing in maturity and they offer an unseen flexibility – w.r.t. relational databases – necessary for letting AI agents ground their tasks by exploring trusted knowledge.

My research advisors are Prof. Stefano Ceri and Prof. Anna Bernasconi. I am a member of the DATA SCIENCE LAB at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioinformatica (DEIB).

In February 2025 I co-founded LegisRatio, a company operating in the LegalTech field, empowering legal search with knowledge graphs.
